Services and resources for individuals, couples and families

Counselling & Family Therapy

In my private practice located on the Gold Coast, I work with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My commitment is to provide quality, collaborative care, where I invest the time to fully appreciate each client's unique circumstances. Together with my clients, we establish clear therapy goals, employ tailored evidence-based treatments, and consistently monitor and assess progress toward achieving these goals.

I assist individuals and families in coping with various challenges, including:

  • Anxiety and Stress

  • Depression

  • Trauma

  • Family and Relationship Difficulties

  • Family Transitions (e.g., separation and stepfamilies)

  • Parenting

  • Adolescent Challenges (e.g., peer issues and identity)

  • Grief and Loss

  • Behavioral Difficulties

  • Low Self-esteem

As a registered practitioner with Medicare Australia, I accept referrals under The Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative.  This initiative supports doctor referrals for treatment plans, that allows you to claim for up to 10 sessions each calendar year with a mental health professional.

Due to high demand, Kate is currently at capacity in her clinic and is unable to accept new referrals.

Please speak with your GP for counselling options or visit The Australian Psychological Society website.

1 hour consultation: $225

Medicare rebate if eligible: $141.85

Top cover extras in a private health fund may also give a rebate. Please check with your private health fund prior to booking a consultation.

Cancellation of appointments require 24 hours notice, otherwise a $50 fee will be incurred.
